With the new update in the Flash Player the Stable channel of Google Chrome web browser has also been updated to 15.0.874.120 for Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome Frame platforms which now supports the new Flash Player 11.1.

As Adobe Flash Player 11 and Adobe AIR 3 included next-generation technologies like the gorgeous, cinematic 2D and 3D hardware accelerated graphics of Stage 3D the new version brings updates for the developers. iOS 5 native extensions support for Adobe AIR: Flash-based apps now support new services provided by iOS 5 via AIR 3.1. Developers can create apps that integrate the latest iOS 5 capabilities like iCloud and iMessage.

Updated Native text input UI for Android: Android apps can now take advantage of the same native text input controls provided to BlackBerry Tablet OS and iOS operating systems to provide platform-specific user interaction behaviors such as magnification and text selection.

Video playback will be hidden under the browser when toggling between the tabs at full screen by shortcuts CTRL + TAB in IE9.

The new flash player update for Android fixes the video streaming issue on Samsung Galaxy Samsung Galaxy S II and enables 1080p video playback for NVidia Tegra 3 chipset based devices.

On the other hand Google chrome also gets the new update to version 15.0.874.120 with the inclusion of Adobe flash player 11.1 and with some fixes over small printing sizes. The major updates apart from flash player, seen in new version are as follows:

  • Double free in Theora decoder.
  • Out of bounds reads in MKV and Vorbis media handlers.
  • Memory corruption regression in VP8 decoding.
  • Heap overflow in Vorbis decoder.
  • Buffer overflow in shader variable mapping.
  • Use-after-free in editing.
  • Failure to ask for permission to run applets in JRE7.

Although the releases include no major features but enhancements and bug fixes related to security, stability, performance, and device compatibility are done.
