Samsung after so many rumors has finally launched Samsung Galaxy S III Mini. As the name says Samsung Galaxy S III Mini people might get confused that it is the smaller version of Samsung Galaxy S III but it similarities end with its design.
Samsung Galaxy S III Mini is priced at $350 (unlocked) but some online dealers are selling it at a price range of $300 to $320. Pre orders of the smartphone have already started and Samsung will provide the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini by next month.
As Samsung Galaxy S III, Samsung Galaxy S III Mini also runs on latest Android version Jelly Bean (4.1). As being the mini version it screen size is reduced to 4 inch as compared to 4.8 inch of Samsung Galaxy S III. S III Mini has a screen resolution of 800*480 pixels AMOLED screen as compared to 720 pixels Super AMOLED HD screen.
Samsung Galaxy S III Mini has not just reduced in its screen size and resolution it has also reduced in its hardware. S III Mini runs on 1 GHz dual core processor and a RAM of 1 GB whereas S III runs on 1.5 GHz quad core processor and a RAM of 2 GB.
Samsung Galaxy S III Mini has also degraded in its camera both rear and front. S III Mini comes with 5 mega pixels with LED flash camera at its rear and a VGA camera at its front as compared to S III as 8 megapixels at its rear and 1.9 mega pixels at its front. S III Mini has a battery of 1500 mAh whereas 2100 mAh for the S III.
Samsung Galaxy S III Mini can nowhere be compared to original Samsung Galaxy S III. It is just another Samsung mid range smartphone with its design similar to Samsung Galaxy S III. Samsung Galaxy S III Mini in individual is a nice smartphone till it is not compared with Samsung Galaxy S III.
